E3 2018 Dreams — I Want Ghost of Tsushima to Be the Samurai Game I’ve Always Dreamt Of
Last week, a trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3’s DLC was posted early , showcasing new playable characters and some Final Fantasy additions. The trailer was officially shown off during State of Play. Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind will come out on January 23, 2
Speaking of which, it’s pretty clear right from the time the first trailer was revealed just how important authenticity is to Ghost of Tsushima . It’s not just the visuals and audio, as striking as they are, but in the care that has been taken to get them right. All the plants, people and just general environmental things have been crafted to ensure they would be right at home in real life Japan. Some of the audio was apparently recorded right in Japan its
I’m also hoping Ghost of Tsushima will take full advantage of an “M” rating. There’s something that’s oddly satisfying about the arsenal of a samurai, and I’m hoping that Sucker Punch will give players lots of weaponry and tools that’ll result in absolute carnage. After all, the katana is one of history’s most beautiful weapons, so I hope to see it put to good use in Ghost of Tsush
Following leaks earlier this month, Capcom has officially unveiled a remake of Resident Evil 3. It also comes with Project Resistance, now officially called Resident Evil Resistance . Resident Evil 3 will release for PS4 on April 3, 2
After a year and a half of silence , Square Enix and PlatinumGames finally showed off Bablyon’s Fall once more. It seems to be pretty on-brand when it comes to PlatinumGames action, though it does have a cool fantasy setting. Its visuals have also been created with a “Brushwork Filter .” We will apparently get more information on the game in Summer 2
It’s due to its now-delayed release window that Ghost of Tsushima will instead be instead focused on at the as-yet-unannounced PlayStation Meeting 2020. This kind of event could tentatively fall anywhere through 2020. 2016’s PlayStation Meeting was in September and focused on the announcement and reveal of the PlayStation Pro console. A PlayStation Meeting 2020 could similarly focus on the PS5, showcasing Ghost of Tsushima as a launch title or as an example of the PS5’s potent
There’s been an absence of serious stories revolving around samurai, and I so desperately want that gap to be filled by a game that not only features a gripping narrative, beautiful Japanese visuals, and bloody yet oh-so-satisfying combat, but one that also gives us a more personal look at the virtues and mentality of the soldiers during this riveting time in the country’s long history. We’ve already seen small glimpses hinting at all of these things in the game’s reveal trailer . I was initially more than apprehensive thinking about a Western developer tackling such demanding hopes, but Sucker Punch has proved to me that they can create games that are special and resonate with PlayStation’s most dedicated fans: there’s no doubt about that. The developer has had many years to really flesh this game out, and with Sony behind them, I trust they’re tackling this project with the utmost care it deser
The game takes place during the year 1274 when the Mongol’s invaded Japan for the first time. Japan was currently in the middle of their Kamakura era. The games hero, Jin Sakai, battles the Mongol Horde on the Island of Tsushima. This means there will be quite the variety of combat as the Mongol’s were experts in archery and horsemans
Combat will be another feature from Ghost of Tsushima that I’ll be looking forward to hopefully seeing at this year’s E3. There’s yet to be a modern game that takes on third-person cinematic samurai combat effectively. Some might argue that Nioh tried this to an extent but, in my opinion, it doesn’t really raise the bar in any sort of way. I’m hoping that players will be able to really take control of the way they play Ghost Of Tsushima Collectibles|Https://Tsushimalegend.Com/ of Tsushima. What I mean by that is I want to be able to go into battles head-on or take things from a stealthier approach. I’ve had countless discussions in the past with other gamers about Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series missing a game that takes place in Japan, and that series is a good example of one that perfectly blends both action and stealth together. I hope that players will feel rewarded by approaching combat in Ghost of Tsushima however they see
When it comes to accuracy and authenticity, he also claims that the development team “absolutely tried our damnedest.” Nate Fox reaffirmed the fact that Sucker Punch is working with experts from Japan things like Kenjutsu , and even consulted developers from Sony’s Japanese studios to get a better idea of cultural norms. He also believes working with the experts kept the development team from “going astray” and also allowed the team to learn a lot of new things and become intimately familiar with the time period and sett
These sentiments came out during an interview with GamesIndustry.biz at VIEW Conference 2018 in Turin. As Sucker Punch and Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed previously, Ghost of Tsushima is set on the titular island between the Korean Peninsula and Japan, with players following one of the few remaining samurai that can fend off the Mongol invas
