League Of Legends: 5 Champions That Need Reworks (& 5 That Didn’t)
As discussed earlier, Leona is best played as an aggressive support that takes advantage of enemies that are alone or have stepped up too close to the minion wave. As a support, she is best played bottom lane with a preferably ranged ADC that is willing to combo with Leona when she dives aggressively. In lane, you’re going to want to harass the enemy ADC with Zenith Blade whenever they are alone or trying to last hit a minion . If you don’t have wards and an enemy is missing, hide in the brush beside the river to provide vision for your ADC and then punish any enemy junglers that are come to tank. Leona has a ton of wave clear with Eclipse and Zenith Blade, so it is okay to be aggressive and push lane to the enemy tower. This kind of play will also synergize well with Demolish as you can do a lot of damage to the enemy towers early on. Clearing and pushing the wave also provides Leona with the opportunity to leave the lane and help out middle or top. Thanks to her Boots of Mobility, she can rotate to other lanes and easily engage the enemy from the brush. In the middle to late-MOBA game Champions, Leona will excel at tanking damage and providing crowd control. Use her abilities to get right into the middle of the fight and draw attention away from your team. Then, use her Shield of Daybreak or Solar Flare to deal damage while immobilizing the enemy ADC. If Leona is in the absolute thick of it, use Eclipse and Gargoyle Stoneplate to tank the enemy team’s damage output and let your team clean them
In the late-game, it may be especially hard to earn gold as a support Leona. Therefore, it is best to get your essential items first and then leave the rest of your build open to adapt to the game. Although the choices in items may seem daunting at first, remember to invest in items that primarily provide damage resistances and bonus
Azir officially debuted in 2014, and he is still played quite a bit professionally because of his range, damage potential, the ability to create towers, and an ult which can knock back and displace the entire enemy t
Leona’s first active ability, Shield of Daybreak, has Leona use her shield to perform her next auto-attack. This next attack deals bonus magic damage to an enemy and stuns them for 1 second. This ability works best when it can be followed up with more crowd control from Leona’s teammates. Essentially, Leona’s Shield of Daybreak is meant to be the first ability used on an enemy that gives her teammates time and opportunity to land their abilities on the target as w
Leona is best played as a tank support, which means it can be difficult to accumulate gold in the game since your ADC should have priority over minion kills. Therefore, it’s best to focus on getting a few essential items that give movement speed, extra HP, and resistan
His previous ultimate where he turned to stone and cc’ed/damaged nearby enemies was extremely useful late game once getting Zhonya’s Hourglass. It could incapacitate all the right enemies so a Katarina, Akali, or Darius could bop around annihilating people. Though Galio’s new kit has more utility, his ultimate feels like a weaker Stand United from Shen and his other abilities feel like watered-down versions of his past ones. That said, the rework did remove the “flash taunt” move which most players regarded as super bro
Shyvana teaches newbies fast lessons on Jungler Champions with her moveset. Her Passive – Fury of the Dragonborn boosts her damage against dragons and the bonuses she gets from them. Moreover, as Shyvana’s strength depends on the dragons she kills, players need to learn how to maximize Shyvana’s presence in the jun
In season 4, Wriggle’s Lantern receives an upgrade that is so powerful it only lasts about half of the season. Feral Flare is one of the only few items in the game’s history with an infinite scaling stat. Champion kills, assists, and killing large monsters grant stacks. Stacks give increasing bonus magic damage to basic attacks and life steal. On top of increasing stats, it also increases the gold the user gains through monster kills and gives a free ward. Heavy auto-attack focused champions dominated with this item if they allowed to st
Riven fans love this Champion for her mobility and capability to punish entire teams during late-game. Unfortunately, despite her easy-to-use (almost predictable) nature, she can become difficult to master. Her Passive – Runic Blade gives her charges whenever she uses an ability, all of which enhances her autoatta
However, Janna shines with Ult – Monsoon. When she uses this, the skill knocks back all enemies around her. Moreover, Janna grants healing to Champions around her as long as she stands still. This skill does leave Janna vulnerable, but this also teaches newbies how the right position can change the tide of bat
Yasuo has already received a Legendary skin with amazing effects, and considering an Ultimate skin costs over $30, Riot would be foolish not to give one to Yasuo, especially if they do something like “Sword Master Yasuo” which allows him to change the appearance and effects of his sword-similar to Cloud from Final Fantasy
